Uses of Honey for Skin

A simple way of making your face glow is with a little bit of honey. And it is indeed beneficial for the look and texture of your face. Here are some tips about the uses of honey for the face and how you can use honey for your skin as well.

Lemon and Honey for Face

Honey and lemon juice combine perfectly to make a great paste to clean your face. Apply this paste on dampened areas like around your eyes, nose, chin, and neck, and leave for 20 minutes before rinsing off. Let this paste get dry then rub the paste in circular motions to give your cheeks a nice glow.
Let the paste dry completely so that you don’t have spots of acne or breakouts of any kind. The paste should be quite thick and apply it under your eyes, between your eyebrows, and under your eyes. Let it sit until you see results. After applying the paste, apply mascara and makeup as usual. This paste will not only brighten up your skin but also help your lashes to stay longer until you wear them.

Honey for Eyelashes

You can also put a teaspoon of honey on your eyelashes and use it as a hairbrush. Brush in circular movements over hair to make sure that there aren’t flake-ups. When your hair looks shiny, brush your eyes after this process by using a small dollop of mustard. It is best to repeat this step every 3 to 4 days, especially when you look at yourself in the mirror. You should repeat this process two times at least a week.

Honey and Yogurt

You can also add honey to yogurt instead if you feel extra sweet after brushing your teeth. Yogurt and honey are a really good combination because yogurt has antibacterial properties, while honey has anti-fungal, antibacterial, and anti-microbial properties. Yogurt will keep your body healthy (it is also high in vitamin C) because it is full of water and fiber, and will keep you feeling full and energized throughout the day. If yogurt is unavailable for your mouth or digestive system, add 1 tablespoon of honey to the yogurt, and mix well. Mix together this paste and massage onto dampened areas like your hands, behind your ears, and around your legs. Leave this paste on for 10–15 minutes and rinse with cold water. Your face will look much brighter than ever.

Honey is a Gentle Remover for Makeup

To remove makeup from your face, simply dab a soft cloth or a cotton pad under the cream you usually apply to your face. To clean your face, on the other hand, wash it under warm water or soap, and pat it dry. Be patient when washing this face because most skin types will need to soak away a fair amount of makeup. Rinse thoroughly after rinsing, but you will still have some smudges left on your face.

Honey and Milk

To make a soothing, cooling paste for your face, pour one part of milk into a saucepan and melt it, stirring regularly, over medium heat. Let boil until it is gently steaming. Pour this paste into a glass jar and set it aside. Let this paste cool, or it should feel like honey. Add a teaspoon of honey to this paste and let it simmer (it will cooldown). Wipe your face with a towel to get rid of makeup. This paste needs to be repeated twice daily before bedtime. Do this three times a week. Avoid putting honey too close to your skin because it can cause serious allergic reactions. Use on wet and humid surfaces, such as a shower, bathtub, floor, or windowsill. It is also recommended you avoid contact with hot objects, such as the handles in the bathroom.

Honey for Glowing Skin

Honey is a natural bleaching agent that boosts the appearance of hair, nails, and skin. Not only does it give your scalp a natural shine, but it also gives your skin a beautiful glow. It doesn’t take long to get started with this beauty trick. Just try mixing 2 tablespoons each of honey and lemon juice with 2 teaspoons each of water and salt. Dip your palms in this paste and rub a few drops on bare skin. Wash your forehead several times a week, and soon you’ll find your skin looking much better. I know, it sounds daunting and daunting, but honey and lemon juice really do work! Have you tried it? What did you find?
